Robert Bagby’s journey to opening Dawson’s Auto Care began long before the shop’s grand opening. "I have always had a dream of operating my own shop since I started working on cars in 2004, when I graduated from Wyoming Technical Institute in Laramie, Wyoming." This deep-rooted passion for automotive repair, combined with years of hands-on experience, forms the foundation of everything we do.

Robert and his wife have moved frequently throughout their lives due to her career in science. These varied experiences exposed Robert to a wide range of automotive systems, vehicle makes, and repair challenges, helping him build a comprehensive skill set.

After settling in Georgia, Robert decided it was time to make his dream a reality. “After getting to a good place here in Georgia, I decided to open a shop in Dawsonville with the help of a friend and business partner, Presley Gray.” Since then, Dawson’s Auto Care has grown steadily, earning a reputation for quality workmanship, transparency, and excellent customer service.
